Youtube, Twitter now MOOC's ...... Is this the future of Distance Education . MOOC's ( which stand for Massive Open Online Classrooms) seem to be entering into the mainsream. Here is a Great Article on the potential for rapid expansion of MOOC's. Could Matt Damon, Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington be the Superstar Professors of MOOC's. MOOC's otherwise known as Massive Online Open Classes seem to be getting traction in the press, but the question remains whether this a viable medium for distance education and is it feasible to develop MOOC's on a mass scale for conventional discussion or is it simply an catching fancy.
