Personal areas of Inquiry, Concepts, Questions and Ideas that I hope to research in Distance Education

• Are learning theories more so an aspect of pedagogy or do they need to be  key aspects of technology and institutional framework?

•  Data on Efficacy of Distance Education vs. Face-2-Face Education..

 

• Base tenets for efficient and successful Distance Education interactions

 

• Is it feasible to assume that if we shift the primary education model to DE that all other levels would see significant increase in efficacy of DE institutions  increased level of Efficacy?

 

• Are we going to see the a greater disparities in DE in underrepresented communities as a result of the economic and technological  barriers  that affect often affect these communities more so than others. 
• additionally will the lack of support mechanisms and the fact that DE is a deviation from the norm affect these communities at a more significant level than those in communities where the support structure and exposure to these new "norms" exist
